Suwaiq Club, which was founded on 28/2/1972 and registered on 26/6/2002, is one of the great clubs in the Sultanate. It is located in Al Batinah region, in northern Oman and it is named after the town (Al-Suwaiq). The Club participates in many sports events including the Sultan Qaboos Cup and the Sultanate football league and many other competitions and various sports activities.
Suwaiq Club enjoys a large fan base which differentiates the Club from the other clubs by its unique way of cheering.
H.H. Fatik Bin Fahr Al Said, the President Emeritus of the Club, is the Club`s most important and supportive figure who supported all the achievements of the Club`s football team. In addition, he has an efficient effect through his continuous follow-up and attendance of the team matches and through winning the precious cup in 2008.
Main Achievements:
Winning His Majesty`s Football Cup in 2008 after defeating Al-Nahda Club 1/0.
Among its great achievements in the Gulf Region, winning the title of the Juniors Football Gulf Clubs Championship in 2002 in Qatar. As well as winning the title of the Sultanate Juniors Football league.
