In the midst of a joyful ceremony, the Oman Football Association celebrated this afternoon, Tuesday 24 May, the first diverse women’s soccer team , in the presence of the honorable Lujaina bint Mohsen Haider Darwish Al Zaabih, member of the board of directors of the association and chairperson of the women’s soccer committee, and a number of members of the board of directors of the association and the Secretary The CEO, the national team players, the technical and administrative staff, and a number of local media representatives. During the ceremony, the team was revealed and the goals of its formation and how to select its members were discussed, through a video presentation, and the important upcoming benefits of the team were reviewed. In a speech she gave on this occasion, Honorable Lujaina Al-Zaabi expressed her thanks and great gratitude to the parties supporting the team, led by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Youth and the clubs that cooperated in organizing and participating in the women`s football league organized by the Federation, represented by the Women`s Football Department, and thus contributed to the development and refinement of the players.
